Drawing from inspirations such as pride of place and looking forward to the next generation of church membership, mid-century aesthetic, and elevated branding application; this new entry wall is but one small addition in the whole of good works conducted here.
Key elements of the project included: 1) positioning the wall at the main entrance of the building to be seen by all patrons upon entry, and 2) ensuring that it was seen at night when lit - seen from the main drop-off. The materials makeup was all about maintaining existing interior building materials in its construction - white oak planks (unfinished), brushed aluminum lettering, and recessed lighting for a clean look.
It has been said by many a congregant, that the entry wall feels as if it's always been there ... though the building was completed in 1965, with a later addition finished in 1998.
